The Fit Lab High Performance Unit is the first of its kind on the Darling Downs. A unique exercise science driven, non-biased, evidence-based performance facility for elite and emerging athletes.

High Performance Coaches

Our High Performance Coaches, also known as Strength and Conditioning Coaches, are trained to motivate and coach athletes and the general population with specific movement patterns.

They use periodised programs to ensure peak performance for all athletes. Our coaches are all trained as a minimum Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coaches with many years’ experience in the industry.

Sponsored Athletes

The Fit Lab runs a Sponsored Athlete Program for local athletes to better themselves in their chosen sport. Our main goal is to close the gap for our local athletes between the Darling Downs and the larger institutes such as the QAS, AIS and professional sporting clubs. Our professional Strength and Conditioning Coaches implement programming based on exercise science principles to ensure our athletes are moving closer towards their goals.

The programming is suitable for all levels of athletes and abilities. They are proven to get results for all individuals. The coaches, led by Steve Nance including Corey Wolski, Matt Johnson, Zac Rub and Danah Hillman have many years’ experience in strength and conditioning and are all passionate about helping our athletes develop into stronger, fitter and faster athletes.
