Steve Nance High Performance Coach
Steve Nance is The Fit Lab’s High Performance Consultant and Coach. He is the creator of the functional training programs for all of The Fit Lab Athletes.
Steve Nance graduated from the University of Sydney as a Health and Physical Education Specialist and Secondary School Teacher. He continued on to gain his Masters of Physical Education (University of Texas), before returning to Australia to take on a role as a Secondary School Teacher PE Master.
- 1978 – 1979 University of Texas, El Paso, USA. Attained M.Ed (HPER) and graduated with a 4.0 Grade Average.
- 1971 – 1975 University of Sydney, Sydney. Attained B.Ed (PE).
- Cert 3 and 4 Fitness
- Diploma of Strength and Conditioning
- ASCA Level Two
After completing his study, Steve started his professional career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Ipswich Jets Rugby League Football Club. From this, he moved into the same role with the Brisbane Broncos - winning three Premierships.

Steve maintains an active interest in all aspects of fitness, strength and conditioning but also a passionate interest in preparing young people for the fitness industry as well as the care and fitness of mature aged persons.
